Teacher Immersion Event – 2026
The Reserve Banks ninth Teacher Immersion Event will be held on Friday, 10 July 2026. This event provides an excellent opportunity for secondary school Economics, Commerce and/or Economics & Business teachers from across Australia to expand their knowledge of current economic issues and deepen their understanding of economic concepts. This in-person event provides an opportunity for teachers, and in particular those new to the field, to engage in professional discussions with their peers and practicing economists.
This one-day professional learning event has a limited capacity and typically oversubscribed. For teachers unable to attend, certain sessions will be recorded and posted on the Banks website.
To support teachers from a variety of schools and locations, we have reserved a limited number of rooms to assist with accommodation for interstate and regional NSW attendees (a small fee applies).
