Teacher Immersion Event – 2026

The Reserve Bank’s ninth Teacher Immersion Event will be held on Friday, 10 July 2026. This event provides an excellent opportunity for secondary school Economics, Commerce and/or Economics & Business teachers from across Australia to expand their knowledge of current economic issues and deepen their understanding of economic concepts. This in-person event provides an opportunity for teachers, and in particular those new to the field, to engage in professional discussions with their peers and practicing economists.

This one-day professional learning event has a limited capacity and typically oversubscribed. For teachers unable to attend, certain sessions will be recorded and posted on the Bank’s website.

To support teachers from a variety of schools and locations, we have reserved a limited number of rooms for attendees from interstate and regional NSW to stay at the venue (a small fee applies). Please indicate if you require accommodation at the H.C. Coombs Centre when expressing interest for the event.
