Monetary Policy Unpacked: Student Webinar With the RBA

Join the RBA Education team for an introductory webinar on monetary policy, presented by an RBA economist. The session will outline the objectives of monetary policy and explain how changes in interest rates affect the economy. Students will also take part in a short ‘You make the decision’ activity to apply their understanding. The webinar will conclude with a discussion of the May 2026 monetary policy decision. A Q&A will give students the opportunity to engage directly with the economist.
