Private Sector Economists Panel
The RBAs Private Sector Economists Panel enhances our engagement with the economics profession.
The Panel consists of up to a dozen members from the private sector, with participation rotating over time. These meetings are chaired by the Governor and include senior RBA staff.
The Panel meets twice a year under the Chatham House Rule, allowing the RBA to listen, exchange ideas and gain valuable insights on current economic challenges and the outlook for the economy. This initiative builds on the regular interactions that RBA staff have with private-sector economists, complementing the RBA's broader liaison programs.
