Michelle Deaker is a founding partner and the current Managing Partner of OneVentures, a venture capital firm with over $1 billion in funds under management that specialises in technology and healthcare investment. Dr Deaker has over 20 years’ experience in the development of high-growth technology companies in Australia and the United States. She has served on the boards of large and small listed and unlisted companies and has a background in Australian research and development as well as expertise in global business expansion.

Prior to establishing OneVentures in late 2006, Dr Deaker established IT enterprise business Networks Beyond 2000 and later E Com Industries, a leading prepaid card and electronic voucher provider in several countries.

Dr Deaker is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and of Chief Executive Women.
