The annual amounts written off Bank premises have the approval of the Treasurer in terms of Section 78 of the Reserve Bank Act. Following the revaluation of premises this year, the amount written off was $5.7 million which compares with $3.0 million in 1983/84. Under the previous valuation basis, the figure for 1984/85 would not have been materially different from that for 1983/84.
