Annual Research Workshops

Each December, we organise an annual Research Workshop on ‘Quantitative Macroeconomics’. This event brings together leading academics and researchers from around the world to share and discuss the latest developments in macroeconomic theory and empirical research. The Workshop provides a platform for rigorous academic exchange and fosters collaboration on key issues shaping the global and Australian economies.

Quantitative Macroeconomics Workshop 2026

The deadline for submissions is Friday, 28 August 2026.

The Reserve Bank of Australia is pleased to announce its annual Research Workshop on ‘Quantitative Macroeconomics,’ to be held in Sydney on 9–11 December 2026. We invite submissions in all areas of macroeconomics, with a particular emphasis on topics relevant to open economies such as Australia.
