Michaela’s recent work has focused on structural and applied macroeconometric methods to investigate monetary policy transmission. She is also interested in the transmission of unconventional monetary policies and expectation formation during periods where policy rates are constrained. Michaela holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Sydney.
