Tom is a Research Manager in Economic Research Department, having previously held positions in the Bank's Economic Analysis Department and in the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet. He was one of the developers of the MARTIN model, and has worked on models of inflation expectations and the NAIRU. Tom has (almost) completed a PhD at the University of Sydney looking at the effect of credit constraints on house prices.
