Assessments of Financial Market Infrastructures
The Bank promotes safe and resilient financial market infrastructures to support financial stability. As part of this, the Bank publishes assessments of the compliance of clearing and settlement (CS) facility licensees with the Financial Stability Standards. The frequency, scope and level of detail of these assessments is proportional to the systemic importance of a CS facility to the Australian financial system. The Bank also conducts assessments of the Reserve Bank Information and Transfer System against the Principles for Financial Market Infrastructures. For further information about the Bank’s supervisory framework, see Financial Market Infrastructure.
