Media Release Appointment of Head of International

The Reserve Bank today announced the appointment of Mr Frank Campbell as Head of International Department. This position, which became vacant following the appointment of Mr Ric Battellino to the position of Assistant Governor (Financial Markets), was advertised both inside and outside the Bank.

Mr Campbell holds a first-class honours degree in economics from the University of Sydney and has had extensive experience in the Economic and Financial Markets areas of the Bank. He has worked in the International Department for the past seven years, including a period as the Bank's Deputy Chief Representative in Europe. Prior to this appointment, he has held the position of Chief Manager, International Department.
