Request for Securitisation System User and Deal Reference Data Details
To support the implementation of the new reporting requirements for repo eligible asset-backed securities (ABS), the RBA is developing the Securitisation System, which will allow submission of the required ABS data to the RBA through an online user interface or API access.
If you are the issuer of deals that are currently eligible for repo with the RBA, you will be required to submit RMBS, CMBS and Other ABS data to the Securitisation System to satisfy the new reporting requirements. You are required to complete the Deal Data Registration form [XLSX, 49KB] for all eligible and ineligible tranches within repo eligible deals, and return in XLS format to securitisations@rba.gov.au by 7 November 2014. Please include in the subject line of the email ‘Deal Reference Data Forms’.
Reporting can be done by whichever entity in the relevant securitisation structure is best placed to do the reporting. If you are an issuer and intend for a third party to submit RMBS, CMBS and Other ABS data to the Securitisation System on your behalf to satisfy the new reporting requirements, that third party is classified as an Information Provider (IP). Please forward the IP registration form to your nominated IP, and advise the IP to complete the IP Registration form [XLSX, 55KB], and return in XLS format to securitisations@rba.gov.au by 7 November 2014. Please include in the subject line of the email ‘Information Provider Forms’.
If you intend to submit RMBS, CMBS and Other ABS data to the Securitisation System yourself, or on the behalf of other parties, to satisfy the new reporting requirements, you are classified as an Information Provider, and are required to complete the IP Registration form [XLSX, 55KB], and return in XLS format to securitisations@rba.gov.au by 7 November 2014. Please include in the subject line of the email ‘Information Provider Forms’.
The information collected in these forms will enable the RBA to set up the Securitisation System to receive RMBS, CMBS and Other ABS data submissions from the nominated Information Provider for repo eligible RMBS, CMBS and Other ABS deals.
Note that the Securitisation System allows only one institution (Information Provider) to access and submit data to the Securitisation System for any given deal. This Information Provider must be endorsed by the repo eligibility Issuer.
