Conference – 1997
Monetary Policy and Inflation Targeting
21-22 July 1997
As in previous years, a range of prominent international and Australian
academic and policy economists participated in the Reserve Bank of
Australia's 1997 conference. Four of the papers for the conference were
written by Bank economists. Of the remaining six papers, three were
written by economists from overseas monetary policy institutions and
the remaining three were written by Australian academic economists.
A volume, containing the conference papers and discussions, was
published on 10 October 1997.
