Presentations to Students and Teachers
The Reserve Bank offers presentations to groups of students and teachers. Possible programs include:
- A presentation on monetary policy and the Australian economy for senior high school economics students.
- A brief presentation on the Bank and its main functions for students studying commerce or related subjects.
- A presentation on Australian banknotes, including how banknotes are produced and their security features. This presentation can be tailored for primary and secondary school children, as well as other groups.
- A tour of the Bank’s Museum of Australian Currency Notes, for presentations given at the Reserve Bank’s Head Office in Sydney. The Museum may also be of interest to history teachers and students.
It is important to discuss arrangements with us well in advance of any proposed visits as group numbers and available presentation times are limited.
