Michele Bullock is the Assistant Governor (Business Services) at the Reserve Bank of Australia. In her current role Michele oversees the Bank's provision of banking and payment services to financial institutions, governments and international organisations, including the system that supports the settlement of high value payments and interbank obligations in Australia. Michele is also responsible for the banknote issue function, including the distribution, quality and security of Australian banknotes, and the conduct of related research and analysis. Michele is also Chair of Note Printing Australia Limited.
Prior to her current position, Michele held a variety of senior management positions in the Bank most recently she held the position of Assistant Governor (Currency). She was also Adviser, Currency Group and, before that, she was Head of Payments Policy Department.
