The two-day conference, hosted by the Reserve Bank, brought together academics, policy advisors and private sector participants. The conference examined how the structure of financial institutions and markets has evolved across a range of advanced economies over the past decade or so, the changing nature of risk in the household sector, and the implications for policy-makers charged with the responsibility of maintaining financial system stability.
A volume, containing the conference papers and discussion, was published on 26 November 2007.
