WARNING – HOAX E-MAILS

A hoax email is currently circulating claiming that the RBA requires people to verify their debit card account details. Refer to an example of the hoax e-mail.

The Reserve Bank does not require such verification. You are strongly advised not to respond to e-mails of this nature or enter any personal information on the website to which you may be directed. If you have responded to one of these e-mails, it is suggested you contact your financial institution immediately.
