RBA WEBSITE
Since launching a revised website
in late March, the RBA has put in place a process of continuous development
of the site as part of its general aim to provide comprehensive and timely
information to the public.
A number of substantial changes are being made at this time as part of
this process. They are:
- provision of an e-mail alert service,
free of charge. Those who join this service will receive regular notification
of information posted to the "recent news" segment on the
RBA home page;
- provision of a range of charts on the Australian economy and financial
markets and on some developments in overseas economies and markets.
The Chart Pack will be updated monthly.
This resource is designed to meet a diversity of needs including those
of educators and researchers as well as those in the markets and media
focused on specific current economic issues; and
- a revamped home page to accommodate the e-mail service and Chart Pack
and to improve access to key information on the home page and navigation
to other parts of the website.
These improvements to the website are in line with some of the feedback
received from respondents to the Survey of RBA Information Services conducted
last August. The Bank welcomes ongoing feedback
on its website to assist our efforts to best meet the needs of the community
for RBA information.
